How to enable Whatsapp dark mode on android?

One of the most demanding features in smartphone applications and platforms is Dark mode. Most of the applications have already introduced dark mode and now WhatsApp has also stepped into the arena and introduced dark mode to its platform.

In this tutorial we will learn how we can set dark mode for Whatsapp manually. Follow the given steps with no skip step.

QUICK SUMMARY:

» Open settings » chats » choose your theme » enable dark mode.

Before getting start, make sure you have updated Whatsapp version 2.20.19. Update it from play store If you don't have it.

Open WhatsApp setting.

Launch your Whatsapp and Tap the action overflow menu (Three vertical dots located at the top right corner) and open settings.

Open Chats menu.

Select chats option.

Choose Themes.

From Display menu, choose theme.

Enable Dark mode.

In the Choose theme dialog box, we have 3 options. You can choose light theme which is currently default or you can choose Dark theme.
